Upcoming PDF, GenCon, and Into the Cess and Citadel
almost 2 years ago – Fri, Jul 15, 2022 at 01:23:43 AM

Hey everyone! We have some really exciting news to share about Heckin' Good Doggos and more. Be sure to read all the way to the end!

Ennie Awards

Wet Ink Games was nominated for three Ennie Awards this year. Voting begins on 7/15 so we'll be sure to send a link out for any of you to vote for Jiangshi: Blood in the Banquet Hall, for these categories and for Wet Ink Games as Fan Favorite Company. We would value your support here. More to come!

Upcoming PDF

We've completed first pass editing, and the second editor is about 60% through the book. They should be wrapping up by the end of the weekend, or early next week, after which it is going to layout. The graphic designer already has the mockup template and design structure so layout should go quickly. We expect to have the PDF available for all backers before GenCon, which is the first weekend in August. We will like to give backers about a week to dive in and see if there are any issues you spot that we can correct before submitting the file to the printer. We hope you're excited, because we're thrilled to be getting this into your (digital) hands.

The graphic designer is diving into the card deck and box design for the doggo deck, so that should be done in no time too.

Into the Cess and Citadel

Into the Cess and Citadel, the urban horror TTRPG and spiritual successor to Into the Wyrd and Wild is LIVE on Gamefound! This book was written and illustrated by Charles Ferguson-Avery and Alex Cogan of Feral Indie Studios.  They are fantastic and are really bringing some great things to life. The project just launched today and is already at 62% funding. Check it out here!

GenCon (Booth 1263)

Speaking of GenCon, Wet Ink Games will be at GenCon at booth 1263. If you're going to be in attendance this year, PLEASE stop by to chat. We'd love to talk with you and get to know some of our awesome supporters. We'll also be making some pretty exciting announcements over the weekend, so follow us on any of our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) to stay in the loop. Don't worry, we'll also be communicating here.  You want a sneak peek? Well, ok. Twist my arm...

Origins Booth 1232

Hey everyone! We will be at the Origins Game Fair in Columbus, OH this week. If you're going to be in attendance, please stop by and say hi! We'd LOVE to get to meet you and thank you personally for all your support. We're in booth 1232

Production Update

Heckin' Good Doggos continues to take shape. It has one more pass in editing and then it's off to layout. From a production standpoint, you all will have access to the PDF via DriveThruRPG because as soon as it's done in layout, we'll put it up, send your complimentary copies and give you all about a week to catch any of the little gremlins that sneak through our editing process. After that, it will be off to print.

Art for the Doggo Deck has wrapped up (See some samples below) so that is going to layout and the order will be placed Monday.

Work Continues!
almost 2 years ago – Tue, May 03, 2022 at 05:20:00 AM

Hey everyone! We just wanted to post a quick update to let you know that work continues. Mike Mumah has been working away on illustrations for the Doggo Deck and our creative director has been working to get the manuscript to layout. Other than that, we're prepping all we can for Origins, GenCon, and Pax U this year so we'll be able to see you, demo games, and just have a blast with you all in person.

We'll try to get some more illustrations and layout examples over the next week or two to keep you all excited and waggin' those tails.
